The National Library holds a treasure trove of material relating to Joseph Lyons, from the papers of Lyons (MS 4851) and colleagues such as John Latham, Robert Menzies, Earle Page and James Guy, to the oral history recordings with contemporaries including parliamentarians HB Gullett and Norman Makin, and journalists JA Alexander and Alan Reid. The Library also holds the papers of Enid Lyons, and there are references to her in the papers of other leading women including Bessie Rischbieth and Hilda Abbott.
