| Description | The National Archives holds the personal papers of Harold Holt, including the papers in his briefcase when he disappeared, correspondence on foreign affairs and papers on the Melbourne Olympics. The collection also includes records relevant to policy on the immigration of non-Europeans, the change to decimal currency and the 1966 visit of US President Lyndon Baines Johnson. The original manuscript of the report on Holt’s disappearance, memorials and letters of condolence, and the personal papers of Zara Holt are also held. |
